The Healing of Birth DVD PAL

The Healing of Birth DVD PAL subtitled “an invitation to intimacy” this film (formerly titled The Psychology of Birth). It explores the potential impact of birth on the baby and how this may set up  patterns of behaviour that continue into adulthood. The DVD examines the awareness of babies at birth, the influence of the immediate environment and the importance of immediate support from significant others. It shows adults remembering their births, young children revealing the events they experienced as they were born with comments. The comments are from a number of experts, including Dr David Chamberlain, explaining what is known about the significance of imprinted behaviours.

Includes a bonus interview with Dr Michel Odent (23 minutes).
