This three DVD set explores a wide range of topics and issues around giving birth. Made by Leanne Cummins, a midwife, lactation consultant and childbirth educator, it uses a team of 28 professionals from around Australia to present an informative program that could be used either as an “at home” pre-natal program, or to supplement information gained in class settings.
DVD1 explores pregnancy, using interviews with a physiotherapist, dietician, naturopath, genetic counsellor, general practitioner, 4 midwives and instructors in Yoga and Hypnobirthing
DVD2 examines both vaginal and caesarean birth and offers strategies for the labouring woman and her support team to use throughout labour and birth
DVD3 covers adjusting to life with a new baby. Early Childhood Nurses explain what is normal for a newborn, and new parents and grandparents offer their experiences. Includes information on car seats, baby wearing, baby massage, pets and babies, post natal depression and community support organisations.
