Fetal Doll Pink with Placenta, Deluxe Flexible Pelvis Model and Skills for Childbirth Educators DVD NTSC

This “Starter kit” of a pink fetal doll with detachable placenta and cord plus pelvis forms the basic teaching equipment required by childbirth educators.  We have also included the Skills for Childbirth Educators DVD NTSC, which covers learning about the pelvis and using the pelvic model effectively. These models can be used to demonstrate:

• positions of the baby at term
• the birth process
• effect of different positions on the progress of labour
• posterior labours
• breech birth

Shown in accurate detail, this pelvis model can be manipulated to demonstrate how the pelvis moves to accommodate delivery. Flexible anatomy allows exaggerated movements for presenting to a group. Three separate bone segments are joined together with a flexible cord, helping viewers visualize how the pelvic bones flex during birth. The model allows the birth of the Fetal Model. Pelvis model measures 26.7 x 17.8 x 19cm.
