Birth Support Rope

We made the Birth Support Rope, especially for Birth International. The rope is a wonderful addition to the birthing room. Pulling downwards in labour using a rope or cloth is an age old labour tool. The support rope is 600mm wide and 3600mm long and comes in various colours. (Hardware not included with rope)

A secure attachment for the birth rope can be made to the ceiling, whether it’s over mats, birth pools, or any other suitable location in the birthing room. Using a support rope can potentially shorten the second stage of labour by helping facilitate women into an upright position such as squatting or kneeling.

It is a deal for demonstrating upright birthing positions. Educators and midwives can utilize the birth support rope during pregnancy and birth classes, as well as in clinical settings.
